Classroom Stories – The First of Everything

College days are best days of life. (Sic)

There is no exception to this. After these so many years - I still cherish every single story from my graduation. Meeting new people, making friends, having crush, it’s all part of a giant awesomeness.

So, I was at a gift store today where I noticed a girl purchasing friendship bands, cards and all that stuffs that can be given to friend on friendship day. (That’s what only girls do – men are men.)

Her chirpiness about the coming friendship day kept getting loud till I was there. She also got pissed off on her one of the friend for not being able to come on party.

I came back home – opened my laptop and browsed every single picture that I had, which triggered all the memories.
What I love most about these stories is that it connects with everyone. (Even with people who haven't ever been to college!)

This connection happens because of the mutual things that happen with us all. So here I’m with my new blog, dedicating it to my each and every college friend. So, Here's the "first" of every mutual thing...

1. Joining College: Remember, when you walk into college thinking that now the life will be changed and suddenly somewhere between the orientation and post orientation you realize the devastating truth - NOTHING HAS CHANGED except the fact that “morning assemblies” are no more.

2. Meeting the first friend: For few this first friend is the friend that sticks till the end, either of college or of life.
And for few this is the guy who gives reality check of – you- being boring.

3. First lecture: when the forms or undertakings are filled and the professor proceeds to show his less interest in anyone and starts uttering strange notations and symbols.
Last Page of My Notebook, then.

4. The Girl/ the Boy: …and during that lecture you check out everyone especially the girl with pink lips, cute smile and the guy who is already staring at her.
Girls probably look for the guys who has fairest of complexion. :D

5. Canteen:  Remember the first time when you visit the canteen and everyone seems like senior. Even the guy who after a year finally converts into “chotu – samosa la” is “bhaia ek aaloo patiz” on the first visit.

6. First… Second… Third… Crush: with so many crushes in starting days, do you also remember the harsh fact that your class didn’t had any good looking girl/guy. They were seniors. And after a year crushes were junior. And somewhere by the end of college you realize your girl/guy has always been your batch mate. (Few realize it soon and few take their time)

7. The bunk: Bunking first class is always exciting if you don't run away to your home. Those fifty minutes are pure bliss – full of life gyan.

7. The gang: With low attendance, bunking addiction, and flunked internals - you find yourself in a group. A group of people who seem important than any other relation of this world.

P.S. Do let me know if I've missed anything. And in case if you remembered anyone while reading this – let him/her know.

P.P.S. happy Friendship day – will see you then.
