Dusty Wallet
As we grow up in our families and society, we all somehow, realize how important money is for (all of) us. From collecting Pokémon cards in childhood to collecting porn in second innings of childhood. From accomplishment of getting a cold drink and patties in school days to need for money to get a gift for girlfriend in college to money for boozing afterwards and demand of money for kid’s school fees (Eh! Let’s not go there. It’s not our zone yet)…
So, with time, Preferences change, choices change and the way you spend on them- also change and in amidst of all this change all we have is leftover changes in our pocket that too is hard to find when we need it for ‘riksa, auto or chai or cigarette’.
In many times of a normal “kids” life, we so many time wish for having a magical wallet or an invisibility cloak for one or many of mischief that we all, at some point of our lives, want to do.
As transition of human anatomy takes place the change of wallet anatomy also occurs. From no wallet to thin wallet then further to ‘ATM-card wala’ wallet, from ‘gift-wala’ wallet to ‘kanha hai wallet’. Remember the time when during graduation days we used to get message or call from home, ‘beta! Paise dalwa diye hain! Check kar lena!’ how joyful one used to get.
“Jumping in air,
Spending here and there,
Money to go everywhere,
Wallet is, no more, Bare!”
Then suddenly a day comes when it gets hard to choose which balance has to be maintained, in ATM card or cell phone? And also the day when we borrowed money from our besties and saved from enemies (chacha chai pilao! Agle Monday dunga paise).
As we suffer our wallets suffer more! Today, let us all spare some time and pay tribute to this magical stuff which carries money and sometimes surprises you by giving unexpected torn ten rupee note.
Look boss, I’m no one to tell anyone about how to spend on needs or leisure? But instead, like many of us, I can look into my wallet and curse. Ha Ha!
P.S: Is it only me or you guys also wanted that invisibility cloak?
P.P.S: And does anybody else also have thought of robbing a bank or something post getting this invisibility cloak thing?? (Shhh!!!!)
