After giving this blog a filmy start I would also like to show
my gratitude towards cheap restaurants, cheap morning shows, helpful auto and rikshaw wale bhaia log. And now it’s time for a sher(not tiger wala sher) to bring-in some depth
‘Ishq ne kar diya
nikamma gaalib varna hum bhi the aadmi kaam ke ’
You people are smart enough to understand, till now, what I’m
talking about.
Well now, the
beautiful gender may raise a question that why I always talk about boys or tigers, why not about girls and tigresses? To them my answer is ‘taare jo babuna, tarti babuniya, babuna ke
hatthe na chadhti babuniya’ whose translation goes like this ‘When the guy stares, the girl stares back, the
lady doesn't get caught by the guy…’ I personally feel that ninety
percent of girls get love of their choice but ninety percent of boys don’t even
speak to girls of their choice. (Alright, Salman paaji said that). Beautiful gender
may also complain about ‘chauvinism’…
There's certain degree of negativity that
floats in the air about 'chauvinism' in our opinion where everything in terms of
ideas, feelings, emotions and even facts are sold in the way no different from
the way samosa-jalebi is sold in a halwaai-ki-dukaan; the tastier - the better... "Chauvinism"
and especially "Male Chauvinism" can be and (to a great extent) should be condemned, for it indeed degrades and
demeans our gender base of equality, which cannot be accepted, forget about
being appreciated except for exceptional
occasions where the motive is mere entertainment, humor or sarcasm as a figure
of speech... I mean, having samosa-jalebi once in a while should be
appreciated even for diet conscious people... Having said that let's bring 'feminism' in the market...
Do you see any difference? Somehow, feminism is celebrated in India and other parts of the
world too; In fact if it were to find a metaphorical counter-part in the same
market it'd be fruit-juice (recommended; healthy; often tasty though expensive)...
But my antennae are disturbed when people tend to mix water in the juice
or add additives, having no nutritional value; only to make it taste sweet...
Having said that, when you sit and compare both the products - popular and
easily available in our opinion-bazaar - you most certainly believe that there
exists no comparison between the two…
So speaking on the behalf of my race... here I’m with ‘Ek tha Tiger’. ..
(To be
continued…)
