Ik ishq tha
Jo badnam hua;
Do zindgiyaan thi
Jo Poseedah hui;
Kuch kisse the
Jo Yaadon me mehfooz hue;
Kuch yaariyaan thi
Jo mashoorhui;
kuch guftgu thi
Jo khaamosh hui;
Aur kuch khaamoshiyan thi
Jo bezubaan hi rahi;
Kafile bane - bigde - chalte rahe
Yun tou kuch zindagi thi
Jo mukammal samajh waadon ko
Jhakmon ke sare-aam hui;
Kuch log the'
Jo hus ke laut gaye;
Aur kuch khaamkha ka sabaq seekh gaye;
hasal kuch ye hua;
Ki sirf ishq tha jo badnaam hua!!!
